So- I entered the local Kirby Gallery Photography Contest again this year... (I have entered for the past two years...)
and I got "the call" today! WooHoo! They called to tell me that I won 1st place in the Animal category, 3rd in Black & White, as well as, 3rd in the open category. YAY! There were about 15 to 20 pictures entered into each category... so I am very tickled to win three ribbons :-) can you tell that I am excited...

The cats and the dress are amazing. :) I am loving your photos! Come by and give me some pointers on my pictures. :) I'm in love with a Canon 40D that I'm hoping to buy with the "stimulus" check we are waiting on.
